Gill

Gill is a vocal
consultant specialising in commercial vocal style in pop and musical
theatre.
Between 1997 and 2001
Gill was Operations Director and senior vocal coach for The Music
Room in her native Aberdeen. During this time Gill also acted as
vocal consultant to several Speech and Language Therapy units,
giving presentations for the North East of Scotland SLT SIG on
topics such as Adolescent Voice, Pop Styles and Vocal Hygiene for
Adult Singers.
Gill now lives and
works in London where she is deputy head of singing at London Studio
Centre. She runs a successful private
teaching practice, where her clients include West End and recording
artistes.
Gill will be returning
to Aberdeen during the summer 2003 to act as course director for a
new Musical Theatre Summer School she devised for the Aberdeen
International Youth Festival.
