Overview
This unique course is devoted to the study
and understanding of vocal anatomy and function, blending Meribeth's many skills
into an holistic approach. The course is designed to help
you understand the logic of the body and voice as they
relate to teaching and performing. The topics include
breath, resonation, articulation and expression. The course
is interactive, practical (you will make models), and
experiential. Meribeth will also provide you with suggested
reading and written assignments.
"One of her
great skills was to make it seem easy to understand the
physiology of the complex human body, and see the beauty of
its workings. Another was to relate this information to the
act of singing or speaking. Yet another, to help us relax
and let the knowledge enter our long-term memories. One of
the most worth-while courses you could subscribe to."
Russell Smythe, Professional singer, Faculty, The Royal College of
Music, London UK
