Welcome to Vocal Process eZINE Update

We've got two reasons to celebrate and we thought we'd share them with you before the next eZINE - the recent huge increase in visitors to the Vocal Process website, and a brand new resource put together by Jeremy that will make your performing and teaching resources easier to find...

We've hit a quarter of a million...

We've been keeping an eye on the website statistics recently (well, the nights are drawing in and you've got to have a hobby...)

It seems that you are happy to visit the Vocal Process website - in fact, we've had more that a quarter of a million hits so far this year. That's a 600 percent increase in visitors since 2005!

Vocal Process Musical Store bannerAnd now there's a NEW reason to visit the website. Jeremy has created a brand new Vocal Process Musical Store as a one-stop shop for recordings, scores and books.

Our newest resource

The Vocal Process Musical Store has three departments that you can search:

Vocal Process Musical Store Department 1 Musicals Recordings

1. The Musicals Recordings section has almost 500 soundtracks, cast albums and suggested audition repertoire recordings.

Vocal Process Musical Store Department 2 Songbooks and Scores

2. The Songbooks and Scores department has almost 500 vocal scores from musicals, films, operas and the classical world to choose from.

Vocal Process Musical Store Department 3 Recommended Reading

3. The Recommended Reading department contains a growing list of the vocal skills, voice science and performance practice books we recommend.

We think you'll find this a really useful site for ideas on vocal technique, repertoire and original cast albums. Make sure you support our new Musical Store now by clicking on this direct link or going to http://www.vocalprocess.co.uk, navigating to Products and clicking on The Musical Store link.

More on the website...

If you haven't visited the site for some time, the pages are packed with information, articles and downloads for you to discover.

In particular, our Resources section has all our eZINEs and special announcements going back to the very first online issue in July 2003. Vocal Process free Build Your Own Larynx Template

There's the Your Questions Answered section, and the free Build Your Own Larynx template (currently downloading at a rate of six larynges a day).

There are also 31 of our Articles written by Gillyanne, Jeremy and guest writers with topics ranging from Session Singing (Kim Chandler) to Adolescent Voice use and training (Jenevora Williams) to copies of commissioned articles from Jeremy covering Vocal Warmups for Drama Teachers, Changing vocal styles and tips for Learning and Memorising.

And if you're into oddities, the Singing and the Actor Pedagogy page in the SATA Experience section has a mini article by Jeremy on mirening and a download of Jeremy mirening his way through a Beggar's Opera song. It was an outtake from the recording session we did to create the Singing and the Actor Audio Guide and is well worth a listen!

We have more exciting news coming soon (two new sets of resources coming up, but they're still under wraps...)

We look forward to seeing you on the website.
