Vocal Process News Archive...
30 June 2003
Monthly Summary
We have been busy
this month preparing for the launch of our new website. It’s more
than an update or a revamp – it’s a completely new site. The new
site is much larger, with an easier navigation system. There is more
information laid out in four areas: Products, Education, Events,
About Us, and new soundfiles, photographs and articles are being
added. There is also a new interactive area, My Vocal Process, which
is where you can personalise the site and make it work for you.
We’re due to go live on Monday 7th July, so make sure you visit us
then.
The
Core Training course at the Benslow Music Trust has just one
place left – if you feel inspired to join us for three days
of intensive vocal information, email or phone us as soon
as possible. And we have just had the dates confirmed for
our training days in Tel Aviv in December. We are also in
the final stages of putting our teacher-training programme
together. The final document is in peer review as we write
this, and the teaching faculty will include Dr
Meribeth Dayme, David
Carey and Julie McClean.
Tom Harris and Sara Harris have agreed to be involved in the
endoscopy sessions for participants, and the programme will
include personal mentoring from both Gillyanne
Kayes and Jeremy Fisher.
Details will be released on the web site when they become
available.
And finally, keep an
eye out for Jeremy on the
Operatalent*
web site. The site is dedicated to opera singers, young in years or
young in experience, and is an excellent source of information on
all things operatic. Jeremy recently gave an interview on his work
with Opera singers and the results should be posted on the site
during July.
