Monthly Summary
Our latest course,
the first Musical Theatre Intensive at the RSAMD in Glasgow, is
proving extremely popular. Its a truly international course, as we
have already received applications from Holland, Israel and Vienna.
Strand I for Young Performers now only has two places left, and
Strand II, Advanced Performance Preparation, is filling up fast. We
also have a few places still available for observers on Strand II,
so book your tickets early if you want to attend. Remember, if you
want to take part in Strand II as a singer, entry is by audition
only!
The
'On The House' event on September 7th in London is creating
quite a stir! Gillyanne and Jeremy will be on hand to answer
questions and sign books. Participants get the chance to try
out interactive Taster Workshops of our most popular titles,
including Singing and The Actor (with Gillyanne),
Successful Singing Auditions (with Jeremy),
Changing Voices (the adolescent voice and what to expect,
with Deirdre Trundle)
and The Voice of Violence (safe and energetic use of the voice,
with Lise Olson). There
will also be a live demonstration of computer voice analysis,
and an Ask The Panel section to get advice on vocal problems.
And finally, we will be unveiling our new Vocal Process accreditation
programme, for integrated training in sung and spoken voice.
